For the second straight year,
Ashland University's chapter of Psi Chi, The International Honor Society in
Psychology, has received a Model Chapter award. According to
the Psi Chi website, chapters are named Model Chapters if they
"consistently maintain outstanding records of membership inductions,
chapter correspondence, service projects, and other criteria associated with
being an outstanding chapter." The chapter was led in 2011-2012 by Nicolle Valentine (Chapter
President) and Cassie Baird (Chapter Secretary-Treasurer), with Dr.
Diane Bonfiglio serving as the faculty advisor. Designation of "Model
Chapter" status was accompanied by a certificate and a check for $100 to
be used toward Psi Chi sponsored events. Congratulations to the AU Psi Chi
chapter!!
