Professors Mitchell Metzger, Bill Vaughan, and Fabio Polanco are recruiting Ashland University students for the AU in Germany 2012 program. This summer study abroad program has been offered annually since 2005, and over that time fourteen faculty members and one-hundred fifteen students have participated. Students that enroll in the program take two core courses from early-May through early-June and spend three weeks in eastern Germany, centered in the small town of Wittenberg. This is an outstanding opportunity for students of all majors, as all of the courses that are offered in the program satisfy Ashland University core requirements. Interest meetings for the 2012 trip will be held in September and October (see slide above) in room 135 in the Schar education building (click here to view a brief video for more information about the meetings). If you are unable to make any of the meetings, please contact the program director, Dr. Mitchell Metzger, at mmetzger@ashland.edu or via telephone at 289-5008.
