On Oct. 6 at 8:00pm, Dr. Laurence Steinberg will be giving a talk at Baldwin Wallace College titled "Why Teenagers Take Risks". Dr. Steinberg's research focuses on adolescent brain development, risk-taking and decision-making, family relationships, after-school employment, school achievement, and juvenile justice.
AU Psychology students are encouraged to attend this talk. In the past few years, psychology majors have attend talks at BW on cognitive, social, neuroscience, and evolutionary psychology, and they regularly talk about how interesting and informative the talks are.
