Research Assistants Wanted for Fall 2013 Semester!

The Psychology Department is looking for inquisitive, motivated, and responsible students to serve as research assistants (RAs) for faculty during the 2013-2014 academic year.  Regardless of whether you can devote just a few hours each week or you have the time to devote more, engaging in the research process is a valuable experience for both clinically and experimentally-oriented students.  While valuable for all students, these opportunities are especially critical for those students who have aspirations to go to graduate school.  Optimally, RAs have at least taken Research Methods in Psychology (PSYC210) prior to becoming a research assistant, but this is not a hard rule and exceptions are occasionally made.  If you are interested in being an RA for a faculty member for next  year, please contact Dr. Metzger at mmetzger@ashland.edu or extension 5008.  Those students who are interested will be asked to fill out a brief questionnaire and may be asked to provide a copy of their program evaluation or transcript to be considered for an RA position.
