Ashland University Psychology Department faculty members Dr. Mitchell Metzger and Dr. Diane Bonfiglio were recently featured in the December 2011 edition of
Ohio Magazine. Dr. Metzger was among five AU faculty members who were recipients of the
Ohio Magazine's Excellence in Education 2011 award. The other Ashland University faculty members recognized with this award were Drs. Mason Posner, Herb Broda, Thomas Harvey, and Sirakumar Venkataramany. In the same issue, the magazine contained a piece on AU's recent national ranking in
U.S. News & World Report. In this full page spotlight the story mentioned the research that has recently been completed at AU, specifically noting Dr. Bonfiglio's recent published article with colleague Dr. Kristin Kuntz of Ohio State University on the mental health of transplant patients.
