Call for Abstracts: Research Posters on Capitol Hill

The Council on Undergraduate Research has issued a call for students to submit an abstract of their research to be considered for presentation at the 16th annual undergraduate poster session on Capitol Hill. This event, to be held during the Spring of 2012, will help members of Congress understand the importance of undergraduate research by providing them the opportunity to interact with the students who are directly impacted by undergraduate research programs. CUR is calling for abstracts from the following disciplines:

-- Arts and Humanities
-- Biology
-- Chemistry
-- Geosciences
-- Health Sciences
-- Mathematics/Computer Science
-- Physics/Astronomy
-- Psychology
-- Social Sciences

Abstracts are due on October 18, 2011.  If you would like help in preparing an abstract, see Drs. Metzger, Mattingly, or Bonfiglio.
