Dan Whitacre, a junior psychology major, presented at the 30th
Annual Ohio Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference recently held at Lorain Community
College. The research, co-authored by
Derek Baker with Drs. Ickes and Chartier serving as faculty sponsors, was titled “The Effect of
Color on Athletic Performance.” The study explored whether or not the color
of a golf putter impacted performance on a putting task. Subjective ratings of emotional calmness were
also analyzed. Congratulations, Dan!
