M.A. Program in Gerontology at Youngstown State University

Youngstown State University is announcing a new Master of Arts in Gerontology.  The program is among the few in the country that trains professionals to directly work with, advocate for, educate others about, and investigate issues surrounding our growing population of older adults.  As part of the interdisciplinary curriculum, students gain both research and applied skills working with faculty and doing internships with community partners.  Importantly, these skills translate into diverse job opportunities or preparation for admission to doctoral level programs.  Gerontology is often misunderstood by students, yet is a burgeoning field with an attractive job outlook.  Please feel free to contact Dr. Tiffany Hughes at tfhughes@ysu.edu or visit the website HERE.
