URCA News

Psychology students who are interested in submitting research to the URCA symposium should work with their advisor to discuss the following information.  The symposium is set for Wednesday, April 10th and will run most of the day.  Daytime classes in the College of Arts and Sciences are cancelled to allow students to spend much of their time at the symposium.

The deadline for abstract submission is 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 28th.  Complete submission instructions can be found on the URCA blog at http://ashlandurca.blogspot.com/p/submission-instructions.html.  Please note that the instructions have changed somewhat from last year; this year students email their abstracts to au.urca@gmail.com rather than completing a web form.

The URCA Committee will host an abstract preparation workshop for students on Tuesday, January 22nd at 7:00 p.m. in Schar 104.  Students are welcome to bring their works-in-progress to that workshop to get feedback from members of the committee.  The committee will also hold poster presentation and oral presentation workshops in March; the details of those will be announced at a later date.
