"Autism Speaks" Launches the "Light It Up Blue" Campaign

In preparing for Autism Awareness Month in April, the organization Autism Speaks has announced the Light It Up Blue campaign to raise awareness of this growing public health crisis.  In the evening on April 1st, famous landmarks such as the Empire State Building, the CN Tower in Toronto, and Kingdom Tower in Saudi Arabia will be lit up in bright blue in support of World Autism Awareness day on April 2.  The organization is also urging people from around the world to do the same on April 1st to get out the message of autism awareness to all those around the globe.
