In October of 2011, psychology students from Ashland University's Psi Chi organization raised money for suicide prevention by participating in the
Out of the Darkness walk in Fremont, Ohio. The fundraising efforts of this group helped raise $590 to support suicide prevention efforts. This activity was recently featured in the Winter 2012 edition of the Eye on Psi Chi publication. Click
