Shawn Yambor recently started employment at
The Christian Children's Home in Wooster this past October. The Christian Children's Home provides residential care for abused children and those with behavioral issues. Shawn is working as a youth care specialist within the Intensive Residential Treatment program, which treats children with the most severe behaviors and treatment needs. The goal of the program is to assess a child's immediate needs, stabilize their behaviors, and promote skill development. This program was developed using the best practices from cognitive and behavioral therapies as well as other service models.
